GENERAL BOOKING INFORMATION

1. Last Minute Bouncy Castles supply a range of inflatables and soft play equipment listed on our products page. These items are usually booked out for parties, celebrations (baby showers, religious celebrations) and many more events indoors or outdoors, subject to weather. We deliver in and around Hertfordshire and North London as requested by our client or customer (The Hirer) for a pre-arranged price at the client’s home or a suitable venue.

2. All bookings are to be made via our website. A Non-refundable £50.00 deposit is taken for all bookings, which will secure your booking. The booking fee is non-returnable should you cancel the party at any time. We understand that sometimes plans change and, where possible, will transfer your booking to an alternative date. More information on the booking fee is below.

3. Our privacy policy can be found at the following link: https://lastminutebouncycastles.com/privacy-policy/

2. BOOKING FEE
1. When booking via our website, you will be asked to pay a £50.00 deposit to secure your booking. On the day of delivery, we ask for the remaining balance to be paid in cash. Please ensure payment is ready upon delivery. If the balance isn’t paid on delivery, we cannot set up the equipment, and you will lose your deposit.

2. Your deposit is a non-refundable booking fee, covering our administrative costs when reserving your date, assets/equipment. Please see below for more information on circumstances where this may be refunded

3. Last Minute Bouncy Castles cannot hold any dates for assets/equipment without a deposit.

3. SETUP TIMES

1. A staff member from Last Minute Bouncy Castles will personally assess the location. If the booking is in a hall, they will ensure that all fire escapes and access and exit doors are not blocked. Once they have deemed the location “suitable,” a single Bouncy Castle should take approximately—30/45 minutes to set up, subject to access.

2. Last Minute Bouncy Castles will not be liable for any refund, in part or whole, where ‘we’ are late accessing the venue and setting up purely because of earlier events over-running or where ‘we’ are prevented from accessing, setting up or providing our professional services by the venue management. Neither will Last Minute Bouncy Castles be obligated to extend the agreed timescale on a pro¬rata basis in these circumstances.

3. Should we be provided less setup time or unable to gain access to the venue due to circumstances beyond our control, we also reserve the right to offer an alternative setup than booked or a minimal setup for us to start at the booked time.

4. Due to other potential bookings on the day, the agreed party start and finish times must be adhered to. Should you, on the day, request Last Minute Bouncy Castles to start later or remain longer, this is at the discretion of Last Minute Bouncy Castles.

5. Last Minute Bouncy Castles will contact you the evening before your party/event or party supplies order as a courtesy to ensure that we still have the correct details. You are, however, free to contact us at any time.

4. PARKING

1. It is the responsibility of the client/customer to provide Last Minute Bouncy Castles with a parking space close to the venue and, where required, cover the cost of parking. Last Minute Bouncy Castles will need one parking space suitable for a transit van. You will be requested to provide parking information when booking. This must be provided when booking your party if you are aware of any parking restrictions, such as residents’ parking, pay and display, or time limits. Should parking not be available near your venue or delivery address, we must know this when booking. In these circumstances, we will require additional time to unload/load the equipment for the party/event.
2. Last Minute Bouncy Castles will aim to arrive at your venue at least 10 minutes before the start of the event.

5. BOUNCY CASTLES AND SOFT PLAY

Please adhere to the following rules when hiring or using bouncy castles:
A responsible adult must always supervise all equipment. No children with face paint are to use the inflatable equipment. No glitter/silly string/confetti is to be used on or near the castle, as it could damage the equipment.

No complex objects are allowed on the bouncy castle / inflatable, including shoes or footwear, glasses, jewellery or toys.

Food, drinks and other messy objects are not allowed on the bouncy castle / inflatable. If we believe this rule has been broken, or if the bouncy castle/inflatable is returned in a condition beyond what would be expected from regular use, the Hirer will be liable to pay a £50 charge to cover the cost of cleaning.

Do not sit or climb on the rain covers or the walls of the bouncy castle.

Do not overcrowd the bouncy castle.

Please remove any children who are misbehaving.

Please segregate sessions among people of a similar size or age.
Generators and air blowers must be placed in an area that ensures they are not a trip hazard. Children must not be allowed near the air blower or generator.
Generators and air blowers must be sheltered to protect them from rain showers.

Do not smoke near the bouncy castle / inflatable / generator or blower.
If the bouncy castle/inflatable is damaged due to negligence or malicious acts, the Hirer will be liable to pay for any repairs required. A PIPA inspection body will carry out any repairs needed. If the Bouncy Castle/Ball Pond is beyond economical repair, the Hirer will be liable to pay for new replacement castles/ball pits.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The person who delivers the bouncy castle, inflatable, or hired party equipment will be the same person who will collect the bouncy castle, inflatable, or hired party equipment.

LAST MINUTE BOUNCY CASTLES DO NOT SEND ANYONE TO COLLECT THE EQUIPMENT ON OUR BEHALF! You will be fully liable for negligence for new replacements and costs if the equipment is collected by anyone else except Last Minute Bouncy Castles.

These are the Terms and Conditions for the Hire of Bouncy Castles, Inflatables and Hire Equipment, which are based on the standards set out by the Health and Safety Executive and the Local Authority. Please read these carefully. By booking with us, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions. We will also ask you to sign a copy of these terms once we’ve set up the equipment.
The person/s hiring the equipment is responsible for ensuring that all reasonable steps are taken to avoid injury or cause damage to the equipment. Please ensure that the following safety instructions are followed:

1. No adult should use any Last Minute Bouncy Castles equipment. Besides our adult bouncy castle, all other equipment supplied by Last Minute Bouncy Castles is solely for children’s use. The castles are intended for use by persons below the age of 16 YEARS. Please ensure no persons over this age use the equipment. The users’ heights determine the number of users. Our delivery team will give this information to you upon delivery. The number of users and measurements are also detailed on every castle on the side.

2. A RESPONSIBLE ADULT (OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE) MUST BE SUPERVISING THE EQUIPMENT AND CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES. No person under the influence of drink or drugs should supervise or operate the equipment. We would also request that the responsible adult, the Hirer (over 18 years of age), be present at the delivery address during delivery and collection.

3. You may be requested to provide two forms of ID with at least one photo and your home address. For example, your driver’s license or passport are two forms of acceptable ID. We reserve the right to refuse hire.
4. Always ensure the equipment is not overcrowded, and limit numbers according to the age and height of people using it. We advise avoiding a mix of large and small children. Our delivery team will detail the number of children permitted for each piece of equipment hired.

8. DO NOT allow anyone to bounce on the front step, as children could quickly bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. The step is there to assist users to get on and off! Always enter and exit the inflatable from the front of the step, not the sides. Any safety mats supplied are to be kept in position, and users must enter and exit the bouncy castle via the matted area (Full adult supervision required!).

9. Ensure that anyone with a history of Heart, Neck or Back Problems, High Blood Pressure, Joint Weakness or any record of known medical disabilities can use the equipment. Also, any person who feels unwell should be removed immediately.

10. Climbing, hanging or sitting on the side walls is DANGEROUS and MUST NOT be allowed.

11. Children should not be pushing, colliding, fighting, attempting somersaults, wrestling, running or behaving in a manner likely to cause injury, damage or distress to others or the equipment.

12. Do not allow anyone to be on the inflatable during inflation or deflation, as this could damage the equipment and injure the user.

13. Where applicable, ensure a safety zone of 6 feet (2 metres – subject to initial safety survey) around the equipment is always kept clear, and anchor points are accessible. Occasionally, check that the inflatable equipment is securely anchored/pegged down.

14. All shoes, glasses, jewellery and badges MUST be removed before using the equipment.

15. No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers, silly string, food, drinks, sweets, chewing gum, pens, water (hosepipes, water pistols, etc.), soapy water (to create foam!), pets, toys, barbecues, smoking, shoes or sharp objects are to be allowed on or near the equipment. This will avoid both choking hazards and the potential soiling of the equipment. Cleaning charges apply. A cleaning charge usually is from £50.00 but maybe more depending on the severity of the soiling. Any soiling damage will be charged as per the contract. If it is impossible to remove the soiling, you may be liable to replace the equipment. We will take photos before leaving the equipment.

16. Do not glue/stick/attach or hang any notices or signs to the bouncy castle and equipment as this can cause injury to the users and this usually also leaves a sticky residue on the equipment, which is very difficult to remove and could cause damage to any printed graphics on the castle. Cleaning and damage charges will apply.

17. ACCIDENTS: If an accident occurs, please notify us immediately by telephone at: 0203 9094333. Full details must be recorded in writing, including the name and address of an injured party, the date, time and place of the incident, the circumstances of the accident, and the responsible supervising adult. A copy of the report must be provided on collection.

18. Once the inflatable has been set up/erected by Last Minute Bouncy Castles, do not move or reposition the inflatable without our permission. Failure to comply may result in injury to users; any insurance invalidated, and damage to our equipment. Any damage caused by the Hirer moving or repositioning the inflatable without our permission shall deem the Hirer liable for complete repair or replacement costs in addition to any loss of business as a result of such loss or damage as per the hire contract.

19. Please always leave the inflatables running, even during light rain. However, it is strongly recommended that the inflatable should not be used in high winds or wet conditions. Please only switch off the inflatable during extremely high winds and torrential rain. After rain showers, any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal), can be dried with a towel. We reserve the right to cancel and collect the equipment if a severe weather warning occurs.
20. If the blower stops working, ensure ALL users exit the inflatable immediately. Ensure the blower tube has not come loose, the deflation zip is still closed, and nothing obstructs the blower. Failing all this, please contact us at 0203 9094333 for further assistance.

21. Always use the RCD plug provided (where applicable) and only use electrical equipment supplied by us, as all electrical equipment is thoroughly tested to the appropriate Health and Safety Guidelines by a qualified electrician and fitted with British Standard-approved connections. These connections are splashproof (except RCDs) and can be left out in wet weather, although they do not allow them to become submerged in water.

22. Do not allow anyone to interfere, adjust or repair any electrical item, even if qualified. Failure to do so may result in an additional cost for replacing or repairing damaged parts.

23. Any damage to the equipment caused by misuse, neglect, loss or failure to follow these conditions shall deem the Hirer liable for complete repair or replacement costs in addition to any court costs or any loss of business resulting from such loss or damage as per the hire contract.

24. Last Minute Bouncy Castles cannot be held liable for any damage to property (indoors or outdoors) whilst delivering or collecting equipment. The Hirers are responsible for ensuring we have adequate access and clearances on delivery and collection. Please also inform us of any known underground services when securing the equipment to the ground using ground stakes (anchors).

25. Any extension cables that cannot be safely rooted out of the way of pedestrian traffic need to be taped down and untapped at the end of the hire by the Hirer or covered with suitable shielding/matting or equivalent. The Hirer must provide the extension under these circumstances.

26. The Hirer is responsible for arranging adequate supervision of the children or vulnerable adults while setting up and packing the inflatable and equipment. Do not allow the children or vulnerable adults to touch the equipment during setting up and packing away. Last Minute Bouncy Castles cannot be held responsible for children or vulnerable adults getting hurt on our equipment during setting up and packing away.

27. CANCELLATIONS: Bouncy Castle outdoor hires may be cancelled up to 2 hours before the agreed delivery time due to adverse weather. Please call 0203 9094333 to discuss if you wish to cancel for this reason. Please see our refunds and cancellation page for our refund & cancellation policy.

29. We reserve the right to refuse hire if the Hirer or the Hirer’s property is deemed unsuitable by us. Please check the equipment sizes and clearances required before delivery, as we will not offer a refund if inadequate space is available.

Please see our refunds and cancellation page for our refund cancellation policy. If you are unsure of anything, please do not hesitate to contact us at 0203 909 4333
